Do I have to be a Christian to take classes with Kingdom Birth Services?

No, we welcome the broader community who desire an extraordinary educational experience in an inviting, warm and loving environment. Special content and opportunities are available for Christian families who desire to incorporate their faith with the curriculum.

We routinely update the resources we use to stay current with the research and recommendations related to pregnancy, physiologic birth, breastfeeding and early parenting. The resources we use may include the March of Dimes, Childbirth Connections, Midwifery research and Evidence Based Birth amongst others.

I've read books and watched YouTube videos, how necessary is it for me to take a childbirth classes too?
  • The value you place on childbirth classes depends on your priorities and expectations for your pregnancy and birth. If you want to make well-informed decisions in partnership with your midwife or doctor a class is recommended.
  • A class will help you to learn what questions to ask, how to take care of yourself during pregnancy and postpartum, ways to prepare for labor, newborn care and breastfeeding.
  • You can learn about birth on the internet, but everything you read online isn't always helpful or true.
  • Participating in childbirth classes has a beneficial impact on outcomes.
  • In surveys, women who participated in childbirth classes had fewer elective inductions and reported having a better birth experience.
  • Access to prenatal care and education can dramatically improve birth and health outcomes for mom and baby.

Yes, every pregnancy and birth experience is unique. It's a chance to try something new or change something you didn't like before.
