As a result of working with us, clients receive support transitioning into parenthood: 

  • coaching around eating healthy for postpartum recovery
  • organizing your home environment for postpartum recovery
  • breastfeeding and newborn baby care support
  • referrals to services outside of our scope of services
  • We attend births at home, birthing centers, hospitals, and cesarean births.
  • You are reminded to make your decisions based on your birth vision and evidence that supports physiologic birth.
  • We practice your communication skills with practitioners and how to ask good questions as part of healthcare advocacy.
  • It's important that we work together as a team with you in the lead role.

We accept New York State Medicaid Managed Care plans in-network with these insurance companies: Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, EmblemHealth, Fidelis Care, MetroPlusHealth, Molina Healthcare, and MVP Health Care. When applicable we also accept Medicaid-Fee-for-Service. Please check with your private insurance plan to confirm if doula services are covered and whether an in-network provider is required.
